@asad_ullah97, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Resetting or removing a BIOS password on an HP laptop can be a bit tricky, but here are a few methods you can try:

Using the BIOS Menu:

  • Restart your laptop and press the appropriate key (usually F10, F2, or ESC) immediately to enter the BIOS setup.
  • If prompted for the password and you don't know it, this method won't work.

Resetting via Jumpers (for older models):

  • Turn off the laptop and remove the battery and power supply.
  • Open the laptop casing to access the motherboard.
  • Look for a CMOS battery or a jumper labeled CLR or RESET.

Removing the CMOS/Password Battery:

  • Turn off the laptop and remove the power cord.
  • Open the laptop case and locate the CMOS battery.
  • Remove or disconnect the CMOS battery for 6-10 minutes to erase the CMOS settings and clear the password.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
