I have turned on this laptop 4 times since owning it 3 weeks because of this screen it happens every time I want to use it which is inconvenient considering the time it takes I have tried all the tricks in other feeds nothing works I’ve tried calling and chatting and they tell me the same things to do that don’t work the first time I ever used it it worked great but since then I get this stupid screen and I’m fixing to throw this hunk of junk in the trash and cut my $412 loss

Hi @RTR210
Welcome to the HP Support Community. We’d hate for you to be stuck with a product, which does not work.
Since it is a new system, updating drivers like BIOS takes time. May I know when did you start updating the BIOS?
Did you try pressing the ESC key and starting it all over?
Let me know. Keep me posted.
