I'm looking to update the BIOS on my system. On the website it says to confirm that the processor is compatable, but I don't see anywhere on the actual download page where it says if it is or not. The new BIOS is F.11 Rev.A. My processor is Intel core i7-5500U CPU @ 2.40 GHz, 2401 Mhz 2 cores 4 logical processors. Thank you.

Yes, I had found that page. That's where it said to make sure the BIOS is compatible with the processor.  The search brought me to this page:

https://support.hp.com/in-en/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/hp-envy-m7-n100-notebook-pc/8499292/model...

There is nowhere on here that I can see anything about what processors are compatible with the update, including the release notes. Am I simply missing where it mentions this, or should I be looking elsewhere?
