If your HP Pavilion 15 Laptop PC (model 15-eh3000) is experiencing issues like excessive battery drain or lag after updating to BIOS version F.08, you can try the following steps to resolve the issue:
1. Revert to a Previous BIOS Version

- Turn on your laptop, and immediately press the Esc key repeatedly until the Startup Menu opens.
- Press F10 to enter the BIOS Setup Utility.
- Navigate to the BIOS Management tab.
- Select Rollback BIOS and follow the on-screen instructions to revert to a previous BIOS version.
Make sure you have the previous BIOS version file downloaded from the official HP support website (HP Support).
2. Perform a Hard Reset
A hard reset can help to clear any residual power and reset the system:
- Turn off the laptop.
- Disconnect the AC adapter and remove any peripheral devices.
- Press and hold the power button for at least 15 seconds to drain residual power.
- Reconnect the battery and the AC adapter but leave peripheral devices disconnected.
- Press the power button to turn on the laptop.
3. Update BIOS and Drivers
Ensure your laptop is running the latest stable BIOS and drivers recommended by HP:
- Go to the HP Support website.
- Enter your laptop model (HP Pavilion 15-eh3000) and navigate to the Drivers & Software section.
