Update the BIOS

Updating the BIOS is another important step in resolving the 3F0 error:

Perform Hard Drive Tests using HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI

If Windows won't start:

  1. Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.
  2. Turn on the computer and immediately press esc repeatedly until the menu is displayed, then press the f2 key.
  3. On the main menu, click "Symptom Tests".
  4. Select "Hard disk/SSD drive issue", and press Enter.
  5. If the computer has more than one hard drive, select the drive to test, or choose "Test All Hard Drives".

Symptom Tests menu

If the hard drive passes the Quick Test but issues persist, run the Extensive Test using options like SMART Check, Short DST, Optimized DST, and Long DST. Follow on-screen instructions for troubleshooting if tests fail.

I hope this helps.
