I recently went to rest my laptop. It’s really old and I wanted to wipe it clean and start over (I’ve done this before, and it was quite easy, so I figured it’d be okay to do it again.). Now, I keep getting a pop up on a black screen saying “No bootable device—insert boot disk and press any key”. I don’t have a boot disk, so I obviously can’t do this. I’ve googled and searched on YouTube to see if anyone online could help, but I’ve found nothing. I tried to even use the BIOS method, but it doesn’t work and lead me to that screen.

We need additional information to provide help:
1) Detailed model number
2) Version of the OS the device was using
3) Age of the PC
We can proceed when you provide the information.
Thanks
