Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

First off, a few months back I had this problem with the latest Windows 10 update, where it gave me the blue screen of death upon powering on. The only way to fix it, was to reset the PC. No problem. I did so, and went about my days with my clean PC. Fast forward a month or so, and after hoping the update had been patched, I put my trust in Microsoft and let the update run, after weeks of avoiding the message. I did so, and the same problem happened, blue screen of death and everything. But this time, the option 'Reset my PC' was nowhere to be found. No issue, I proceeded to system restore to the last save. Turns out, one of the files in the last save point (which was an automatic save point, and it was the only one in the list) was either removed, corrupted or just not found. So, basically I am stuck on this BSoD, I've tried the command prompt, I've tried messing with the firmware and even tried an image save, which I know nothing about, therefore, to no avail. The exact message is, "Your PC/Device needs to be repaired: File: \Windows\System32\drivers\sfsync04.sys - Error code: 0xc0000428". I've looked it up for hours and all I see is "use a second computer and download the Windows 10 OS" but not everyone owns two computers. I guess my last resort is a USB Hard drive but I do not own one, and see no point spending more money on this little laptop. There has to be a way to reset this PC without being on the recovery options screen. Someone, don't give me a half-ass answer and please help me.

MS changed Windows Update management with Windows 10 and unlike with earlier Windows versions, you can now no longer refuse any updates -- so what happened with the update trashing your PC a second time is happening to a lot of folks. I know that's no consolation to you -- but it is the reality of how MS now manages Windows 10 and its updates.

The realistic answer, which is what you apparently are demanding, is that without external media, you can NOT reset your PC.

You WILL need a second PC to download and create Windows installation media -- there is simply no way around that. But, you don't have to get a USB external drive; instead, all you need is an 8GB USB stick -- and those (at least around here) are only a few dollars.
