Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The backlight feature of the laptop's keyboard stopped working after performing a clean install of Windows 10 on the system and updating the BIOS to the latest version. The install was required after the OEM drive failed and a new drive was installed. Is this a driver or a BIOS issue?

 

I press the backlight button but it does not respond, all other function keys work. No issues with the keyboard either, I'm typing this on the laptop using the built in keyboard.
