Product: HP ZBook 17 G5
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Windows corrupted itself requiring a complete reinstall - the install fails several times all during the very last update to latest version of Windows 10 - inexplicably with no usable error messages. Then I see this:

If the CONEXANT audio driver prevents a major windows update don't have the HP Support Assistant force me to update it as a 'critical' update. Instead delete or fix that driver (no doubt DLL hell conflict of some sort). Each time it takes a business day to jump through all the hoops from original HP media to final stages of complete windows update.

When was last time anyone tested update from scratch process? 😞 😞
