Notebook HP Pavilion Gaming 15-dk0014la

Hello, I'm trying to locate the RTC battery of this notebook, I disassembled and reassembled the board many times and I couldn't find it. I read in another forum that certain models come with the RTC battery integrated into the power battery. Is this one of those models? I would like to know because I can't find documentation for this 😞

Thanks for your answer, what do you mean that it doesn't have cmos? What I'm trying to fix is that I get that same error message 502 cmos, I updated bios and did everything possible and I feel that if I change the battery it will solve the problem

Hi, @TheMeta_D

The main battery also serves as the CMOS battery to maintain the system clock and BIOS settings.

You will probably have to replace the main battery to resolve the problem.

If replacing the main battery does not resolve the problem, most likely there is a defective BIOS chip.
