ProBook 450 G5

Hello everyone!

After having some weired issues with my notebook, I ran the battery check for the n-th time and since today, I receive an error and a failure ID.

Can anyone tell me, what the fialure ID "QCRX2C-8PXC2N-MFPUQK-C0CF03" means, other then "needs to be replaced"?

Best regards

Thanks for the quick reply! Here is the diagnostic report from that website.

Before the test I switched from "Let HP Manage my Battery Charging" to "Maximize my Battery Health". Can this be the reason for the message?

Get a battery report both before and after you do a battery calibration and see if there is anything suspicious

you run the battery report by bringing up the administrator command window and running

powercfg/batteryreport

as shown below

After entering that explorer line you should see something like the following. You will have to click on it as it is long
http://stateson.net/docs/SP4_battery-report.html
You can use the WindowsKey + shift + S to copy and paste a small image if you want something explained.
Battery should last about 5 years but less for gaming systems

be sure to rename the first battery report so you can compare it to the "after"
