Hi,
i make a fresh install of windows 10 enterprise with only installation of the drivers offline all the time.Hibernate is off. When i put the laptop in connected standby S0 with network disconnected, the battery discharges with 8% for 6 hours. There is unregistered device "Unregistered Device \_SB.PC00.UA02" in sleepstudy report, in device manager is not unknown devices visible. So this unregistered device is only active when the laptop is in connected standby.
What is this for device and where can i find driver for it?

Hi @slan77,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd like to help!
Based on the information you have provided, it seems that the "Unregistered Device _SB.PC00.UA02" in your Sleep study report is related to ACPI (Advanced Configuration and Power Interface) device enumeration. This device could be a virtual device that is used by the system to control power management settings and is not associated with any specific hardware component.
It is possible that the driver for this device is not available for download, as it may be a built-in driver in the Windows operating system. However, you can try updating your BIOS and chipset drivers to see if it resolves the issue. You can download the latest BIOS and chipset drivers from the HP website for your specific model.
Additionally, you can try running the Windows Power Troubleshooter to identify and fix any power management issues that may be causing excessive battery drain during connected standby. To access the Power Troubleshooter, go to Start > Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Power.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

The BIOS is the last version F.07 from 03.01.2023. I've been experimenting with different drivers under Windows 10, offline and online, for hours with no success.
Under Windows 11 Home there is a hided unknown device, under Windows 10 is not listed in device manager, there is only Intel Tile Device-is related to bluetooth. The name is Virtual Power PDO, i can*t find driver for this device, maybe someone may help?

Hi @slan77,
The Virtual Power PDO is a device that is related to power management and is typically installed automatically by the operating system. It is possible that the driver for this device is included with Windows 10 and 11, but it may not be installed or enabled by default.
Here are a few steps you can try to resolve this issue:
Check for updates: Make sure that Windows is up to date by checking for any available updates. This may include driver updates for your system.
Install chipset drivers: Visit the website of your laptop's manufacturer and download and install the latest chipset drivers for your system. This may resolve any issues related to power management.
Install Intel Management Engine Interface driver: Download and install the latest Intel Management Engine Interface driver from your laptop manufacturer's website. This driver is often required for power management features on modern laptops.
Check BIOS settings: Make sure that the power management settings in your laptop's BIOS are configured correctly. You may need to consult your laptop's documentation or you will need support from our internal HP.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

I found that if "Wake on touch" is set to disabled in the BIOS, Virtual Power PDO disappears in device manager[show hidden devices] after reinstalling the operating system.
I have collected new versions of the drivers and will test soon. Troubleshoot power supply found nothing.
Test with the Thunderbolt Driver
