I am having issues with my HP pavilion, The battery completely drains when I shut it down on 40% or below.

Have you considered the possibility that the battery in your HP Pavilion x360 14-cd1004na (6AR04EA) needs to be replaced?  According to the manual: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06140017.pdf, your laptop requires this battery with p/n: 920070-856 "Assembly-battery 3Cell 41Whr 3.6Ah LI TF03XL".

 

You can buy a quality TF03XL replacement battery online, such as this purchase example via Amazon-United Kingdom: https://www.amazon.co.uk/TF03XL-15-cc055od-15-cd040wm-15-cc152od-15-cc060wm-HP-TF03XL-3-cell/dp/B08N....
