Hello, I was wondering if there is a program that controls the battery charge of the computer for when it is working with it plugged into the mains. Something like stopping at 80% and not charging anymore... . Basically I want it so I don't waste battery charging cycles. I know that other manufacturers have this option so I think HP may have something like this too.

Thank you.

The current problem is that while it is plugged in, when it reaches 100%, it automatically restarts to disconnect the charger, sometimes I lose information, because it does not inform about the restart. I can't find a way to avoid this automatic restart and I always have to constantly disconnect the charger

HP business computers have a Battery Health Management feature. This video explains it:

If your computer does not have this feature, you can look at Power and Battery Settings:

HP employee. Not official HP support, just a volunteer on the support site.
