OMEN 15-DC0096NR
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I sure hope someone can help me with this. My kid put an administrator BIOS password on my brand new Omen laptop and then promptly forgot it. I called support and they said, of course, that removing it is not covered by warranty. They want me to send it to them and charge $278 US to remove the password. They will not tell me how to do it. I found that if I removed the main battery it will reset the BIOS but not the password. I have forced a BIOS reinstall as well but nothing that I have found has worked. I tried several of the master password codes that can be found on the internet with no success. Is there anyone out there than can give me some help. I have the power on password so I can get into windows just not into the BIOS settings. I have tried many solutions. When I try the 3 bad entries I get a prompt asking for the SpareKey which I do not have. It shows me my serial number and that is all. There is no error code!
