Hi,
I am looking for information on where I can find the BIOS download for my HP laptop. I had a ransomware attack and I know it's in my bios because I had to do the same thing for my desktop pc.
My bios is not updating when I put the files on a FAT 32 USB. I followed the instructions and powered off, entered the USB, powered on but the device doesn't flash. Am I suppose to ONLY have the efi files and others or am I supposed to put the entire Hewlett Packard folders on it?
Thanks!

Please use the following resource

Normally you have an *.exe file and you can run under Windows.
Regards.

Hi,
I am unable to access my desktop on the laptop to install and run the .exe file. I am looking for the files so that I can add them to a USB drive to flash to the BIOS. How do I get the fresh new files flashed onto the BIOS?
The tool doesn't help me really.
Also, If I did have the files, how could I get it to load properly so that it updates them. Thankyou
