Hi, first of all, i have a notebook that needs to be in warranty, but Amazon (place where i bought it) has activated the warranty one year befoe my purchase, so it results that i have no warranty but my laptop is not that old. Anyways, the problem is that i have downloaded from the hp store the official bios for my laptop, automatically recognized from hp website. So, i have installed the bios, power plug connected, and it stucks at some percentage, go automatically on shutdown and stopped to work. Black screen nothing to do. After some time the uppercase button started to blink with this combination: long long long short short. I checked and it is the ram. So i have remove the backpanel, with professional gloves i have reallocated ram like said in the support center. After this, the pc start automatically with hp bios recovery update. But after some time of writing and verifyng the bios it says "verification of bios failed". So it restarts and do the same thing infinitely for days and days. I tried the win + b tutton and is the same, i tried hard reset, i tried the usb flash recovery stick created automatically from the hp download center (is funny because is the same bios that brick my pc) and it runs and says "unable to load bios image file". What i have to do?? Thanks for your help.

Hi

The Warranty usually starts when you register it with HP, and it should match your receipt and the F1 Born On date.

Suggests a 3.2 Memory Problem as you already know.

As the Latest BIOS is 2018 and you bought the PC recently it may already have that BIOS.

So what/which one are you using?  it does seem to be the one and only available.
