Hi there,

I would like to be able to set the maximum charging limit for my notebook. Ideally in that way that the notebook can be constantly connected to the power supply, but automatically stops charging at 80% and starts charging at 30%, like you can set on some smartphones. Normally you should be able to set this in the Bios, but my Bios does not have this option (the latest Bios-version that is officially provided for my notebook is of course already installed). Are there other Bios-Versions that are suitable for my notebook and that allow the scenario I have described? Or are there hardware limitations here? I would prefer a solution via the bios and not via Win 11, so that the battery setting also works on dual-boot systems.

Thanks you very much

Ludsch

Your machine is NOT a business class machine therefore no such option in BIOS.
