I was messing around in my bios menu getting things set up how I prefer them and acidentaly set and forgot the power on password. Is there anyway I can get through this? I have read dozens of post and threads but none of the codes provided therein have worked for me. I look forward to hearing from you and thank you in advance.

I'm hoping that someone can help me find a way to do a complete factory reset from my bio menu. This stream is a spare computer of mine and I would like to just wipe it clean and start over but I only have access to the bios menu. I am locked out of windows. Please let me know if we have any options. Thank you in advance for your time.

Have you created recovery USB/discs after first setup of this notebook?


Are you able to enter HP recovery console by tapping f11 soon after powering on?
