Unfortunately, I wouldn't be able to help you with why the file I posted doesn't work.

That is the only BIOS support page for your notebook.

There are previous versions on the link I posted that you could try.

Click to expand the Revision History section and there are 8 previous BIOS update file downloads listed there.

Unfortunately, I wouldn't be able to help you with that either.

I have only run BIOS update exe files in Windows.

If your notebook has a corrupt BIOS, you can see if this video is of help...

Your BIOS.exe file has to have the option to create a BIOS recovery drive when you run it on another PC if you can't get into Windows in yours.
