I bought a 440 G3 notebook from an online site and everything appeared to be working, until I found the sd card was missing from the menus so I checked online then found it could be disabled in the bios, I tried to access the bios but there is a password needed?, I messaged the person who sold me ths laptop on his mobile and on the site message app but he didn't reply?, the machines operating system seems to have odd behaviours so I wanted to reinstall, I made a usb recovery key from the hp website then again found I needed the bios password?, I've tried to contact hp from the account I set up but it seems not as straightforward as I might have thought?, my question is?, which department should I contact to access the bios key and what is the most efficient method of doing this?, I've also contacted the online site to see if they can locate the seller for a refund or to see if the laptop has a chequered history, any helpful  advice would be good advice, thanks in advance
