Product: HP Notebook - 17-by1061st
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
The specs show the latest Bios version F.64 with a date of 7/23/2021. I have tried to update to the most current version F.64A with a date of 9/24/2021. I get a message that it has downloaded and am asked to restart, which I do. Then when I look in the specs, it still says F.64 7/23/2021. Why isn't it updating? HP says my computer is out of warranty, which I do not believe to be the case as I got an extended warranty, but that is a separate issue. Anyone have any idea what I can do? MS tells me I can't download the latest Windows 10 update without this problem being fixed. Whether that is the case or not I won't know until this is solved.
