A BIOS update typically shouldn't take more than an hour. If it's taking longer, it might indicate an issue. Here are a few steps you can take:
- Ensure Power Supply Stability: Make sure your PC is connected to a reliable power source. Do not unplug it during the update process.
- Check for Signs of Activity: Look for any signs of activity, such as blinking LEDs or fan movement, which might indicate the update is still in progress.
- Wait a Little Longer: Sometimes updates can take longer than expected. If there are signs of activity, give it some more time.
- Force Restart (if Necessary): As a last resort, you can force restart your PC by holding the power button for about 10-15 seconds. This can potentially brick your device, so use this option cautiously.
