Hello All

 

My laptop motherboard was gone, and an HP service centre repaired it.

 

I received my laptop from the HP service Center and am trying to open it. But it is asking for a Bitlocker recovery key.  

 

I checked all my microsoft account with my personal IDs and could not find any bit locket key.

Hi:

 

Your only option if you do not have the BitLocker recovery key would be to clean install Windows on the encrypted hard drive.

 

All data on the drive cannot be recovered without the BitLocker recovery key.
