HP ENVY Laptop 17-ce0xxx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Have started setting up my brand-new laptop. No problems until I created a USB Recovery Drive. It boots OK, but when I opened up a command prompt (i.e. to make sure my c: and d: drives were visible, I was asked to enter Recovery Keys. It turns out that my drives are both encrypted with BitLocker (although this isn't actually mentioned anywhere).

I'm not familiar with BitLocker but located  my two Recovery Keys via the Windows Control Panel. I also checked them by logging into my MS account at aka.ms/myrecoverykey.

I've tried several times now but BitLocker rejects both keys as invalid.

Any ideas gratefully received.
