Hi all,
my laptop keeps asking for a bitlocker key and I don’t have it, i have no contact with the previous owner who owned it. Can you tell me how i can remove it? I have tried the online way it hasn’t worked.
please can someone get back to me on how to resolve the issue. Thanks

Sorry, but basically -- you can't. I've use BitLocker to encrypt USB sticks and you must have either the password, or the key file that was created when the device was encrypted. Without either of those, you are stuck.
All you can really do at this point is use a partitioning tool to create a bootable USB stick, boot the PC with that, and use that tool to reformat the entire PC.
Examples of such tools are MiniTool Partition Wizard and EaseUS Partition Master.
