Microsoft Windows 11

I upgraded my new laptop to Windows  11 successfully, shortly afterwards I received a note to update the BIOS, after the update my system locked and the Bitlock Recovery Key for my drive appeared. I have not yet  set up a Microsoft acct, , when using the command prompt to display the key (manage-bde -protectors C:) no key is displayed. Any help would be appreciated, I'm dead in the water.

You should have used the BitLocker Management function to export your key before you did the BIOS update.

The following is all you can try at this point:

Thanks, until the update I was not even aware of the BitLocker? It would have been nice if the BIOS update had an informational

note before installation. But in any event I have tried all of the MS suggestions again unsuccessfully, I have also tried to reload the system but still having some issues. Not sure where to go from here, but thanks for your time and suggestions.
