Hello. I use my laptop with Windows 10, encrypted with BitLocker. Two weeks ago I connected an external USB HDD and worked with it, also windows updated my bios. After the next rebooting Windows asks me for the recovery key. Unfortunately, I do not have it. Using windows solution in Advanced mode I tried to fix the boot issue and tried to fix the last windows update. It doesn't help me.

So my questions:

  • How to downgrade (or maybe restore) bios to enforce windows use old (working) settings. Maybe recover TMP data.
  • What bios settings strongly should be set upped to boot encrypted windows
