Bitlocker recovery key

I recently discovered my E: drive is locked. I didn’t lock it and no one has access to my computer but me. There is no key in my one drive nor can I find bitlocker on my computer. Is there a way to unlock it? And is it possible someone can hack my computer and lock it without me knowing? I think that may be what happened.

If the drive is indeed encrypted using BitLocker, you will see a padlock symbol next to it in File Manager.  If that symbol is not there, it is not BitLocker.

No -- no one can hack your PC and lock the drive on you.

Since you apparently did not use the Bitlocker Management function to export your key, the following is all you can try at this point:

I’ve tried all those steps. I don’t have Pro versions or Azure. I don’t have another Microsoft account. I even had Microsoft access my computer remotely and they couldn’t figure it out. I’m at a loss. I’m not an expert with computers but I’d remember locking it. Is there a way to see that date it was locked? Also, my cd drive us constantly lit and running loud. My fiancé is pretty good with computers and thinks someone is using it as a server remotely. People think we are crazy but I’ve seen so much evidence. Ps….his ex wife is a developer and is highly educated in IT world.
