HP laptop 17-Ca0063CL
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

OK, This will be a long one but I need to describe everything I can. I am working on a Laptop Model 17-Ca0063cl. There seems to be a serious problem with BIOS updates on this motherboard that should not be happening. It will go the update process normally, but on the restart, it will stay on the black screen literally forever. I am now on the second motherboard. both worked fine until I tried the BIOS update. Now both will do the same thing.

Here's the things I have done.

1. Left it alone on the black screen overnight after the update.

2. Disconnected everything (Battery, Power Supply, RAM, Disk Drive, , etc.) Held down the power button for 1 minute, then plugged everything back in. Same symptoms.

3. Tried Power on then escape, F1, F2,  F9,  F10 , and F11. All were done separately,, One at a time.

4. Windows key + B and Windows key + V. + power button.

5. Connected second monitor to be sure picture was not going to the wrong video port.

6. Disconnected everything again. Should at least get beeps, but get nothing.

I have tried all these things with no results on both boards. It is getting expensive replacing the motherboard every time the BIOS is updated..

Any ideas will be welcome. Here's the specs on the laptop.

It has a 500 GB Solid State Drive,  Windows 10 Pro, 16 GB RAM (only 8 would work on the second board and yes I did switch the sticks to the good slot to be sure there was nothing wrong with them.) AMD A9-9425 Processor, AMI F.38 3/11/2019 (the last BIOS that worked) .
