1. The laptop would not shut down

2 Finally did a hard shut down by holding power button
3. Turned laptop back on and it attempts to boot but gets stuck on the black screen with the logo and spinning dots.
4. I have tried doing some all the symptom checks and it Passes everything. 
5. None of the advance start repair works
6. In an Elevated Command Prompt I ran a CHKDSK and received a write protection error
7.  I believe this can be fixed in the registry but I can not get the the Registry
8.  I can not boot into windows to run Regedit
9. I changed the BIOS to Boot from the USB to attempt to run bootable USB or Regedit but it will not boot
10. Please help I am out of ideas and tricks

Thank you for getting back with me. I think I may have made matters worse. I followed the directions I was given in another forum before I saw yours and I seem to have a bigger issue. I was told to download Aomei Partition recovery. I created a boot disk to start the program but now it is giving me an error that no boot drive is installed. When I ran the test you asked everything passed but it said the drive were write protected. I really need the files off the drive. if you have any idea how I could do that even if I have to run it as an external drive.
