Hard Drive 1

When i click on back to main menu
I have options to do memory test, hard drive check, language and exit. I have done all of these steps. Try to exit and it asks if I'm sure, I click yes.

Hi:
The Long DST failure means that you will need to install a new hard drive and reinstall the operating system.
Below is the link to the service manual where you can find the hard drive removal and replacement procedure.
You may want to consider replacing the 2.5" mechanical hard drive with a better performing 2.5" solid state drive (SSD).
Look into one of the Samsung 870 Evo 2.5" drives in a storage capacity that meets your needs and budget.
After you replace the hard drive, you can use the HP cloud recovery tool which will create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall Windows, the drivers and the software that originally came with the PC.
Here is an info link for how to use the utility: You will need a 32 GB USB flash drive to create the recovery media with.
HP Consumer PCs - Using the HP Cloud Recovery Tool in Windows 11 and 10 | HP® Customer Support
Since you have to use another PC to install the tool on, you will need to enter the product number for your PC to create the recovery media, which is: 1KU36UA#ABA
