I chose to upgrade to Windows 11 and selected the option to "Update and shut down". I later kept my laptop off and then restarted it the next morning. It still had the option to "update and shut" down when I started it up again. The next time I did this I had tried to turn it on but the screen remains black. The engine and fans are running but the display screen is black. I have a backlight key for my keyboard and it does not come on when I press it. It does overheat a little. This happened during the last Windows update but I was able to turn it on. I tried connecting it via HDMI to my TV which shares the same internet service as my laptop but no signal could be found. I tried connecting my laptop to my phone via Link to Windows app but it could not detect my laptop. I also tried the BOIS or BIOS reset but could not figure the right key configuration as the information provided by HP is 8 years old and I purchased mine about two years ago. I also unscrewed the panel to look for damages but did not see anything. I could not download the maintenance manual through HP because when I click on it nothing happens and yes I have a current subscription to Adobe. I keep trying to reboot it but it just doesn't turn on and there's no noise or beeps besides the fans.
