Pavillion model #15-cs0053cl
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I ordered the recovery USB from hp and was able to recover my laptop. It worked fine for a couple days and now when I turn it on, I can hear it turn on but the screen is black. When I try to press esc or f2, f4, or any other function the caps lock starts to blink. 3 long 2 short and it stays that way. I have tried to hold down the power button a couple times and then plug in ac power and then turn it back on and the caps lock starts blinking with the same code 3 long 2 short.

Hi,

The blink codes indicate a problem with the RAM.

Try performing power reset

If your notebook is still under warranty, you should contact HP support directly. You can identify your PC in the link below and get contact options.

If no longer under warranty, let me know and we can see how to proceed.

Hope it helps,

David
