Hi! Recently, i have changed my laptop battery because it was on low life. I play video games with the laptop charging for performance . Two days ago i played Gears without any issue. But today , after a week of replacing it i started getting black screen while entering the game , after loading for mb 5-10 minutes black screen or sth like sleep mode because after i pressed the power button , it gave me a brighter black screen . I could only close the laptop by holding the power button . I tried 4 times to do and everytime was the same . I checked the gpu drivers , i installed and ran all HP support test that i could find and it says that everything is fine. The battery is not made by hp , but it has the same specifications and it says it compatible.
Every advice helps !

Hi @RRes29
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be happy to help you!
I understand that you are having issues with the black screen.
Since you mentioned that, you replaced a battery. Is that HP's original battery?
Meanwhile, Perform a hard reset
If your computer suddenly fails to boot properly, perform a hard reset (power reset).
For detailed instructions on resetting your computer, see HP PCs - How to Power Reset Your Computer.
- Turn off the computer.
- Disconnect the AC adapter.
- Remove any discs from the disc drive.
- Remove memory cards from the card reader slot.
- Disconnect all nonessential peripheral devices, such as printers, scanners, external hard drives, and USB flash drives.
- With the AC adapter unplugged, press and hold the power button for approximately 15 seconds.
- Reconnect the AC adapter, and then turn on the computer.
- Note: If an error message is displayed, see Troubleshooting Error Messages on a Black Screen During Startup or Boot.
