Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

After reinstalling windows 10 all i get is black screen when turning laptop on. No bios option nothing

I reviewed your post and I understand that the computer is not booting to Windows after reinstalling Windows.

 

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

 

Why did you reinstall the operating system?

Did you install a retail copy of Windows?

 

Meanwhile, I recommend you reinstall the Windows again using the HP cloud recovery tool and check whether the issue is resolved.

Well i cant even get into the bios. I can here the power turn on and fan come on but the power light doesnt turn on. The hd light blinks once then stops. Ive reseated mem. Tried new hd still nothing

I recommend you contact support to further diagnose the issue.

 

Here is how you can get in touch with support.

 

1)Click on this link – www.hp.com/contacthp/

2)Select the product type.

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.
