HP ENVY x360 - 15m-bp111dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I had several OS issues earlier, therefore I have reset my PC and reinstalled windows from HP Cloud recovery.

The windows 10 was successfully installed and setup was done smoothly. I had a pop-up saying Restart your PC for the latest windows feature update. Before restart, everything was working fine.

IT took full night for the update and  after sign -in, I am able to only see a black screen with cursor on it.

Ctrl+Alt+Delete - was working showing the options for Lock, sign out , Task Manager, Change password etc..

But if I click on Task Manager nothing shows up.

Could you please help me resolve the issue. Is it due to windows feature updat, because the Memory test and component tests were successful. There was no hardware issue.

@Sadguna

Suggest you go into Settings --> Windows Update --> Installed Updates and see if you can back out the latest Feature Update.

If it's only been a few days, you should should still have the option to do a rollback.

Good Luck

After the update, when the system restarts, after sign in , there is only a blank screen.

So I tried to rollback through Start up-> F11 -> Troubleshoot-> Uninstall recent Feature update.. This also hanged out and didn't work.
