Hi all,
Last night I put my USB Recovery drive into my laptop and attempted to reset/ recover, because it was on automatic repair! (The last time I saw the % was 30%!)I left it on to recover till 100% at night ,but when I woke up, I powered on my laptop and there was nothing on the screen - At first I suspected that my Battery was at 0% so I waited and waited till there was a white light at the side and booted my laptop on then unfortunately this happened! (my screen isn’t faulty because I replaced it last week due to dead pixels!)
The CAPS LOCK blinks 5 long times then 4 short times... I have looked up what this code means, apparently it means “General System Failure”😩
~I have tried to search for my CMOS (Coin like) and replace it with a new one...but couldn’t find it!( Mine might not have one!)
~I have tried resetting the BIOS by pressing the “windows” key and “b” or “v” key together and hold power button together but that didn’t really do a thing!
~I have tried to remove the battery and leave it for 30 mins but that didn’t work!
~I have tried to remove the battery and change for 1hr - not working!
~I have tried to charge my laptop to 100% (white light) and power it on but still nothing!
~I have tried to remove the back of my laptop and search if my RAM was dirty and clean it - maybe even faulty but still- didn’t do a thing!
~Tried to see any corrosion on my motherboard but didn’t look like there was any to me!
If anybody has any solutions lease reply back! I am so grateful you took your time to read this! Thanks a lot!

Hi
Hopefully one of these documents will cover (and solve) your problem...

Could the screen replacement be causing an internal short circuit?

I have kinda fixed this blinking problem, When I go to “Hard Drive Check” An error message says: “No Hard Drive Installed. Please check That The power And Data Cables Are Connected Properly.”
But first I will reconnect the hard drive again in case it has loosened, I am going to swap hard drives with my other laptop to see if it solves, if it does then I might think to buy a new SSD 128GB Hard Drive, Do you think this is necessary?
Thanks for reading!
