Blue screen - hardware failure

I updated Windows 10 and it appears that it would not start Windows 10.  I did the HP component test and it gave the Failure ID OLVATT-7PAAKH-MFPWMG-60XC03 which is supposed to be a hardware problem.

More details- when I start the PC, it goes to the blue screen and gives the code "Stop code" then proceeds to a screen that gives choice of keyboards.  After I choose "US", it goes to a trouble shooting page with 6 options.  I have tried most of them to no avail.  Then I wen through the HP procedures (start with pressing F2 a number of times to get to the HP test page).

I greatly appreciate any suggestions.

P. S.,  The warranty expired in 2017.

Hard Disk 1 Quick Test Failure

You will need to install a new hard drive, and reinstall the operating system.

You may want to consider replacing the 2.5" mechanical hard drive with a better peforming 2.5" solid state drive (SSD).

After you replace the drive, you can reinstall W10 for free by making bootable installation media using the media creation tool from the link below.  Make the 64 bit installation media.

Since the specs for your notebook indicate that it originally came with W8.1 64 bit from HP, if you are asked to enter a product key during the installation process, select the 'I don't have a product key option.'

After W10 has completed installing, you can install the drivers and available software from your notebook's support page.
