Hi All,
My laptop is experiencing some big problems. It is going on since i bought it (2 years ago) but i did not used the laptop for a year. Now i need the laptop again.
I get blue screens (CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED or others see pic) all the time or pc is stuck after a few minutes of usage.
I also need to start up the laptop a couple of times before the laptop finds the OS. It is always a gues, sometimes it starts up from the first try other times it can take up to an whole hour.
I already reinstalled the whole laptop couple of times, i also did all the memory test and Hard drive checks (extensively) and passed for all of them.
I remember some other students in my class had the same issue with these exact same laptops. So i think this is a common issue with these models. There was one student who fixed the issue with a driver change but can’t remember which one.
please, does somebody know how this can be fixed?
Thanks in advance.

Hi:
If someone indicated that they fixed the problem with a driver, the only suggestion I can offer, after you can get back into Windows, would be to install the latest AMD chipset driver for the AMD Ryzen notebook processors and restart the PC.
This driver will install/update various motherboard drivers.
AMD Ryzen™ and Athlon™ Mobile (Chipset) Drivers & Support | AMD
HP never includes the AMD chipset drivers for their AMD products like they do for the ones with Intel chipsets, and I think that is a mistake.
