Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Opened an email, immediately got black screen of death, rebooted and got "Boot device not found"

"Please install an operating system on your hard disk"

"Hard disk (3F0)

"F2 system diagnostics"

Have done hard reset, and bios nothing seems to work.

Please help!

Did you do the F2 to run drive diagnostics?  And if so, what did it say?

  • Hi, yes I did the F2 diagnostic and at first it did come up and I did a memory and hd check and both came back with "acceptable" did it again and it came back with: Smart Check: pass, Short DST: Failed. Did a hard reset, still the same. Went to bios, system configuration, boot options and noticed that both in Legacy and UEFI network adapter had an exclamation sign next to them. Internal Network Adapter Boot is disabled, Legacy Support disabled, Secure Boot is disabled. I then enabled Internal Network Adapter Boot, and it removed the exclamation signs but still couldn't reboot, enabled Legacy Support but then Secure Boot showed disabled. I am not a computer guy and what I have done so far is from the internet. Thank for trying to help me!
