HP Laptop 15
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am having an issue with my sons laptop and i would like some advise. The Model number is 15-db0031nr.

I received an error "The selected boot device failed.  Press <Enter> to continue"  when i go into the bios setting,  i am not able to access any of the diagnostics.  The message i receive is "The HP Bios application selected is corrupt or missing.  Please install the application and try again."  I try running the flash update as directed from the support page and it gives me the boot  device failed message again.  I replaced the hard drive,  and the problem still persist.

I have tried the recovery flash drive, and the bios will see the flash drive, but i receive the same error about the boot device fail.  I would like to get my sons device up and running before school.

Thank you
