The "Boot Device Not Found" error, often accompanied by the "3F0" error code, indicates that your computer is unable to detect the hard drive where the operating system is installed. Here’s a step-by-step guide to troubleshoot this issue:
 

Check BIOS Boot Order:
 

  • Restart your computer and press F10 to enter the BIOS Setup Utility.
  • Ensure that the correct hard drive is set as the primary boot device.


Secure Connections:
 

  • Power off your system and unplug it.
  • Open your computer case if you're comfortable and verify that all cables connecting to the hard drive are secure.


Run HP Hardware Diagnostics:
 

  • Restart your computer and press F2 repeatedly to enter the diagnostics menu.
  • Run a hard drive test to check for any failure.


Reset BIOS Settings to Defaults:
 

  • Enter BIOS Setup Utility by pressing F10 during boot.
  • Find the option to reset BIOS settings to the default.


Reinstall the Operating System:
