Boot device not found please found os 3 fo

My hard was keep on beep sound and caps lock light is blink, hard disk diagnostic not passed as quick test and show disk is not connected so on . Hard disk not found 3fo error found pls help me

HI,

You will need to replace the drive and reinstall the OS. You should actually really upgrade at this point and install an M2 PCIe NVMe SSD which would give an amazing boost in the everyday performance of the notebook. I do not really know the specs of the machine as it is a CTO model (configurable at purchase).

On page 40 of service manual you can see how to remove the Hard Drive and install a new one.

However, as I said above, once you open the PC you should check if the M2 slot is there

You could install something like the Samsung 970 Evo Plus which would be considered the best or even something much cheaper (and slower) such as the Crucial P1 would still give an amazing boost.

You will then need to reinstall the OS which you can do with HP cloud recovery
