Did you reset BIOS to Default setting?

  1. Turn off the computer and wait five seconds.
  2. Press the Power button to start the computer and repeatedly press the F10 key to enter the BIOS setup menu.
  3. On the BIOS Setup screen, press F9 to select and load the BIOS Setup Default settings.
  4. Press F10 to Save and Exit.
  5. Use the arrow keys to select Yes, then press Enter when asked Exit Saving Changes.

Ok so I was messing around with some of the files, then it told me to restart, so I did. When I came back on it has the "boot device not found" I have done literally everything to try and fix it. It's not the hard drive I passed the test for that. Idk what to do pls help

Try these methods and see if it works, read the post for step-by-step guide.

Repair MBR or Boot Sector

MBR is a part of computer boot hard disk which contains executable code to function as a loader for the operating system and it can help PC boot successfully. Once it is damaged, your PC will fail to boot with the bootable device not found error.

Check and Modify Your PC Boot Order

It is necessary to check whether your boot order is right or not and then modify it to boot system from the correct device in Windows 10/8/7.

Fix Operating System

Your operating system files or folders may be deleted, lost or damaged accidentally, then no boot device detected issue happens to you.
