I have an hp pavillion g7 notebook, model number g7-2275dx, and upon startup i get a message saying "boot device not found" also its saying i need to install an os on my hard disk. My guess is that i need to instal the operating system on a jump drive or some other removable storage drive, and boot my pc from that drive. My question is, first of all, is this what needs to be done, and also how do i do this. I know that windows is not free so would i need to purchase the windows 8 disc or how would i do this? Any and all help is greatly appreciated!
