Product: HP touchscreen laptop

i bought a new hard drive for sons HP laptop and now wondering if i can download the registered windows10 to it since i do not have a recovery disc when purchased from HP website?

Hi:

 

If your notebook was made in 2016 or later, it may be supported by the HP cloud recovery tool.

 

Here is an info link for how to use that utility.

If your PC is not supported by the HP cloud recovery tool, or the cloud recovery tool installation media doesn't work for some reason, clean install W10 by making bootable installation media using the media creation tool at the link below.

 

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

 

After W10 has completed installing, you can install the drivers and available software from your notebook's support page.
