Hi @Detaiylz,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

The "Boot Device Not Found" (3F0) error indicates that your HP laptop is having difficulty locating the hard drive that contains the operating system. Here are the steps you can take to resolve this issue:

Verify Secure Boot Settings:

  • Access BIOS settings by restarting your computer and pressing F10 repeatedly.

  • Check if "Secure Boot" is enabled. Secure Boot ensures that the computer boots using only firmware that is trusted by the manufacturer.

Reset BIOS to Default:

  • While in BIOS, find the option to reset to default settings. This can often resolve boot issues by restoring default settings.

Check Hard Drive Connection:

  • Verify that the hard drive and flex cables are securely connected.

  • If using multiple storage devices, ensure the primary drive with the operating system is properly installed.

Run HP PC Hardware Diagnostics:

  • Use HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI to test the hard drive.

  • If any issues are detected, follow the instructions to obtain a failure code for further assistance.

    I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
