I just bought a new HP Laptop at the beginning of August. I've had issues with its performance since taking it out of the box! I have updated every driver possible, made sure I have the current Windows 11 version and done pretty much everything else imaginable to make this PC run efficiently. I do live in a area where internet connection is not ideal, but I make it work. The problems I'm have are not even involving the network though. This PC is slow to open apps, start menu freezes, really everything freezes on and off. My most recent frustration is that the control panel will not open unless you do exactly this: Go to file explorer - type %SystemRoot%\System32 - search for appwiz and double click (don't right click and try to open through the menu - won't work). When it does open, the menus and toolbars are missing from the top of the page. It's missing from all of my programs like that; the ones like control panel, device manager, so on. Does anyone have any suggestions?

- An available BIOS update resolves a specific issue or improves computer performance.
