HP Recommended

I just purchased HP Laptop 1H95391LSC  out of the box   I turn it on connected to my private WiFi and create a brand new outlook account    The computer doesn't want to run downloads from Microsoft "Family" account pulling files from 2009?!?!   I literally just purchased this computer   Any feedback would be great as I cannot get past a blank screen now    I attempt to reset the darn thing and I get error stating Unable to Factory Reset    What is this?
